Hot stone massage also called warm stone massage has its origins in Pacific Asia. This type of massage consists of lava stones
which are first heated up to a temperature of 60° C, oiled with special massage oil and finally put onto the body.
The warmth received from the stones causes the muscles to relax. After that, the oiled stones, which must now not succeed a
temperature of 40° C, are used to massage the body and finally each stone will be removed with a circular movement. The warmth
also stimulates the blood circulation and therefore supports oxygenation.
In total it serves not just spiritual and
physical balancing, but also gives a sense of an allover well-being and activates the body’s own energy reserves.
